It’s always exciting meeting a new family for the first time, and my recent session with Lacey and her beautiful family was no exception. From the moment we met, I could feel their warmth and joy. As we introduced ourselves, there was an immediate sense of ease, which made the perfect foundation for capturing authentic moments.

We started the session with some simple poses to help everyone feel comfortable in front of the camera. Once we got the basics covered, we transitioned into more playful prompts, like walking hand-in-hand across the field. Watching the family move together so naturally was a heartwarming reminder of why I love what I do.

We made space for the kids to explore, play, and just be themselves. Whether it was playing with the fall leaves, or sticks, these candid moments—filled with curiosity, and connection—are what make family sessions so special.

The weather couldn’t have been more perfect. It was one of those rare days where everything aligned: warm but not overwhelming, sunny yet softened by a slight breeze. The shown across the golden field, highlighting the backdrop of the battleground building and creating a timeless feel.

As I wrapped up the session and watched Lacey and her family interact with such love, I felt so grateful to have been part of their story. Every session is unique, but this one was a beautiful reminder of the joy found in family, exploration, and connection.
