Some sessions just feel extra special, and this was definitely one of them. Photographing friends I went to school with as they prepare to welcome a new life into their family was such an honor. It’s always beautiful to see people you’ve known for years step into new seasons of life, and being the one to capture those moments makes it even more meaningful.

The entire session felt so effortless—relaxing, comfortable, and filled with genuine joy. They were completely natural in front of the lens, embracing every moment together. There was no rush, no pressure—just two people (and their adorable pup!) soaking in this beautiful chapter of their lives. And speaking of support, they brought a close friend along to help with outfit changes and carrying things, which was such a sweet reminder of how important it is to have people who show up for you.
