There’s something truly magical about photographing love stories in unexpected weather. When I met up with Nick and Danielle for their engagement session at Maymont Park in downtown Richmond, Virginia, the skies were heavy with clouds and a soft drizzle began to fall. Some might have worried about the rain, but not these two. Instead, they embraced it, and together we turned a gray day into something absolutely beautiful.

As we wandered through Maymont’s gardens, stone bridges, and winding paths, the gentle rain added a dreamy touch to every frame.
