This session was extra special because Sarah and her family are also dear friends of mine. We met at a beautiful location in Hopewell, Virginia, surrounded by open fields, soft light, and a calm breeze that made the evening feel just right. The weather and lighting could not have been more perfect, creating a golden glow that brought everything to life.

It was a combination family and maternity session, and from the start, the energy was so natural and fun. Sarah’s family has such an easy, joyful connection, and it truly shines through in every photo. The laughter, the playful moments, and the way they interacted with one another made the entire experience relaxed and full of love.

One of my favorite moments from the day was watching Lyla and Owen kiss their mom’s belly. It was such a tender reminder of the excitement and love surrounding their growing family.
