Recently, I had the pleasure of photographing Smriti and Zach at the Appomattox in Hopewell, a location that perfectly blends rustic with natural beauty.
Our session began with some light and fun posing to break the ice. Smriti and Zach’s laughter quickly filled the air, setting the tone for the session. We walked along the ran rock path, complementing their outfit choices perfectly.
The museum’s exterior provided a stunning backdrop with its brick rustic wall, where we captured some book worthy shots. As the sun began to set, we positioned ourselves by the water, the golden tones creating warmth. It was in these moments that I witnessed the true of connection of Smriti and Zach. Their fun and laughter came naturally, making my job as a photographer effortless.
To add a touch of adventure to our session, we drove down to the Riverwalk. Walking alongside the water, I had the opportunity to capture Smriti and Zach in their most genuine moments. Their poses became more intimate as the evening progressed effortlessly.
We concluded our session with individual portraits, capturing each of their unique personalities. As we walked back to the car, we chatted like old friends, and I felt as if I had known them forever. Their anniversary milestone was a celebration of love, laughter, and genuine connection, and I was honored to be a part of it.
Every photograph taken during this session tells a story of a beautiful journey shared by two people deeply in love. It’s sessions like these that remind me why I love what I do—capturing moments that will be cherished for a lifetime.
