My Photography Journey: From Grade School to Motherhood

My love for photography started way back in grade school. I was always drawn to the idea of capturing moments and seeing life through a lens. But like many things we’re passionate about as kids, photography took a backseat as life moved forward. It wasn’t until after I had my first baby that I truly reconnected with this beautiful art form. Becoming a mom gave me a whole new perspective on time, moments, and the fleeting beauty of everyday life. That’s when I picked up my camera again and haven’t looked back since.

Now, photography isn’t just something I do—it’s my way of telling stories, capturing emotions, and connecting with the wonderful people I get to work with.

Outside of Photography: What Brings Me Joy

When I’m not behind the camera, you’ll usually find me diving into a good book or exploring new places. There’s nothing like getting lost in a story or taking time to explore a new area or scenic spot.

I also have a soft spot for dark green—it’s my favorite color and just feels like home to me. Whether it’s nature or something cozy, I’m always drawn to those deep, earthy tones.

My Faith and Calling

I’m a firm believer in Christ, and my faith plays a huge role in everything I do. I believe that this path—photography, connecting with people, and capturing meaningful moments—is my true calling. It’s such a gift to meet and work with people from all walks of life, and I truly believe that God placed this passion in my heart for a reason.
