This session with Megan and her beautiful family was such a joy from start to finish. We met at the riverwalk on a breezy, warm evening when the light had that perfect golden glow. It was one of those days that instantly puts everyone in a good mood and makes being outdoors feel effortless.

The whole session had such a fun and relaxed energy. Their boys were full of curiosity and laughter, exploring the rocks and splashing near the water. I always love when kids are free to just be themselves because that’s when the best, most genuine moments happen. You could feel the happiness and connection between them all, and it made every image come to life.

One of my favorite parts of the session was watching the boys throw rocks into the water. The simple joy on their faces and the laughter that followed each splash was such a sweet reminder of how special these everyday moments can be. Those little bits of real life are what make family photos so meaningful.

The evening ended with everyone smiling and a warm glow all around us, both from the sunset and from the love this family shares. It was the perfect mix of fun, light, and connection — everything I hope for in a family session.
